i think his design is amazing and genius! he looks like he would appear in medieval tapestry as a representation of the devil, i always seen him as both very weasel and sharklike (the exhaust grills on each side!!!)

i llove the situations he deals with throughout the entire TV show (and the comics!) and seeing him get his comeuppance every time is super entertaining. my favorite version is his characterization during the Brenner era where he is a menace to the locomotives he works with (gemmy episodes include Wild Water Rescue!) and goes through arcs where he changes and grows! (at least if we discount the next seasons). he's a very flexible character and he was very compelling and sympathetic to me! eyecandy aside Diesel (among other characters) got me hooked to Thomas, then branching out into art of anthropomorphic vehicles, which changed the trajectory of my art journey forever, while we had a bond that lasted for years.

among my interps of him, the book i materialized is a spin-off superhero AU of sorts!

i think the way he is voiced and how he is drawn (especially when he is storyboarded by Dave Thomas) is immaculate and charismatic! i believe this was the midpoint between Oh Yeah! and the official series, i wish there was a better image to show. we both love fashion, we're both parasocial/hold grudges without a reason, have our favorite drinks and invent and design stuff! his characterization changes a LOT so i make up mythologies where he is a former godparent and partners in crime with Mrs Turner (becoming jaded and sinister after his demotion, both were kicked out for being terrible as godparents!), now they blend in with other humans while hunting fairies for sport. he is very prominent and gluttonous during seasons 7-10, taking up most of the episodes, but my favorite interpretations are actually in the humble beginnings of season 1! a very good boy right there. he's vey cute, sweet, and hearing him brings me so much joy and energy throughout the day.

to think i tried to keep you hidden for months, even years! im no longer ashamed or feel intimidated or cornered when i talk about them, i been much happier with myself since i opened up to friends about them! basically, these two have been with me for a tremendous period of time in very important moments of my life, and helped my with my own gender expression and art journey. i don't know when Mattel or Nickelodeon will acknowledge them ever again! but they live in my heart locket in my daily life and i wouldn't want it any other way!!

all the guys after them are relatively very recent, but very important to me regardless!
